നാലാം ക്ലാസ്സില് പഠിക്കുമ്പോള് ആരും നോസ്ടാല്ജിക്ക് ആയിപ്പോകുന്ന ഒരു കഥ മലയാളം പാഠപുസ്തകത്തില് വായിച്ചത് ഓര്ത്തു പോകുന്നു.

പാണന് പുഴയ്ക്കു കുറുകെ പാലം വരുന്നു. രണ്ടു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു ശേഷം ഇവിടെ പാലം പണി പൂര്ത്തിയാകുമ്പോള് കടത്തു നടത്തി ജീവിക്കുന്ന ബാപ്പുട്ടിക്കയുടെ അവസ്ഥ എന്താവും എന്ന് ആലോചിച്ചു നെടുവീര്പ്പെട്ടു കൊണ്ട് കഥാകൃത്ത് തന്റെ കഥ ഉപസംഹരിക്കുന്നു."
വര്ഷങ്ങള് കടന്നു പോയി.
മലപ്പുറത്ത് അരീക്കോട്, ചാലിയാര് പുഴയില് വള്ളം മറിഞ്ഞു എട്ട് കുട്ടികള് മരണമടഞ്ഞു. ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് ഒരു പാലമില്ലാത്തത് ആണ് ദുരന്തത്തിനു വഴി വച്ചതെന്ന് മാധ്യമങ്ങളും, ജനങ്ങളും ഒരേ സ്വരത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.
മലയാളിക്ക് വികസനത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് എന്താ എന്നും ഒരു മന്ദത?
രണ്ടു ദിവസം മുമ്പ് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ലോ ഫ്ലോര് എ.സി. ബസ്സുകള് ഓടിത്തുടങ്ങി. തൊട്ടടുത്ത സംസ്ഥാനമായ കര്ണാടകത്തില് അവരുടെ കെ. എസ്. ആര്. ടി. സി. കൊയ്യുന്ന ലാഭവും, അവര് നല്കുന്ന സര്വീസ് ഉം, അതിലൂടെ എത്രയോ തൊഴിലാളികള്ക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ജോലിയും, സ്ഥിര വരുമാനവും, ആനുകൂല്ല്യങ്ങളും കണ്ടു ഞാന് അസൂയപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവയോടു കിട നില്ക്കാന് കേരളത്തിലെ കെ. എസ്. ആര്. ടി. സി ക്ക് അടുത്തൊന്നും തന്നെ ആകുമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ രണ്ടു ദിവസം മുമ്പ് ലോ ഫ്ലോര് ബസ് സര്വീസ് കേരളത്തില് തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള് എന്തോ ഒരു അഭിമാനം തോന്നി. കേരളത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ഒരു നേര്ത്ത പ്രതീക്ഷയും. മുടന്തന് ന്യായങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞു ഇതിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിക്കാതിരിക്കൂ...
അടുത്ത ഹര്ത്താലിനോ ബന്ദിനോ എണ്പത് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം വില വരുന്ന ഈ ബസ്സുകള് പൊതു മുതല് നശിപ്പിക്കല് ഒരു ഹരമായി കാണുന്ന സാമുഹിക വിരുദ്ധര്ക്ക് ഇരയാവാതിരിക്കട്ടെ...
"ഓരോ തുള്ളി പെട്രോളും ലാഭിക്കൂ .." എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യത്തെ അന്വര്ത്ഥം ആക്കാന് ഈ വിധത്തില് നല്ല സര്വീസ് നല്കുന്ന "mass public transport system" അത്യാവശ്യം ആണെന്ന് ഓര്ക്കുക. റോഡില് ഓടുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം കുറച്ചു ഗതാഗത കുരുക്കുകള് ഒഴിവാക്കാനും ഇവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഇവയെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കൂ..

Our Idiot channels started debates on the less collection for this bus first day operation. I have seen in chennai that this bus will be always full. Any thing is debatable for this channels.My first preferecne will be this bus.
വണ്ടി തല്ലി പോളിക്കതിരുന്നാലും മതിയാരുന്നു!
കൂടിയ ടിക്കറ്റ് നിരക്കിനോടുള്ള അകലം താനേ മാറിക്കോളും. ഇത് തന്നെയാ ബാങ്ങലുരിലും സംഭവിച്ചത്! ഇവിടെ ഈ ബസ്സുകളില് നില്ക്കാനും സ്ഥലംകിട്ടാറില്ല!!
കല്ലേറ് ഇനി കുറച്ചുകൂടി ഉഷാറാകും.

Idea is good but I don't think kerala has the maturity to accept that service. If u look at bangalore u will find lot of people using a car to office and many a times u will see only one person will be there in most of the car.
In kerala u don't have the customer base as of now its only because here people don't have that spending capacity and mentality.
To add fire to the situation here people has attitude to destroy things which they use then what about services which they don't use.
